Sharon Trickett is a contemporary artist who was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec and currently resides in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Growing up, Sharon displayed signs of innate artistic talent and was selected for many awards throughout her life, which include creative designs with hair, charcoal, pencil and other mixed media. It wasn’t until several years ago that Sharon decided to explore the incredible aspects of acrylic painting.

The discovery of a self-taught process for Sharon has created a natural intuitive style, transforming her observations of the scenery of where Sharon currently resides in Nova Scotia, into mesmerizing works of art, using acrylic paint and mixed media tools for mark making.

You can find Sharon's artwork in numerous private collections and businesses and has recently (2023), appeared in 2 magazines one of which is the Artistonish magazine.

Sharon's exhibitions include solo shows in Nova Scotia, Canada and online group exhibitions, which include juried exhibitions with The Federation Of Canadian Artists and currently (2023), Manhattan Arts International, New York. Sharon was also featured in the Halifax Chronicle in 2021 as an up and coming artist of interest.

Sharon is also known to donate many paintings to Souls Harbour for auctions, to help raise money for their charity organization.

With a relentless desire to advance her professional skills, Sharon is currently being mentored by Zeqirja Rexhepi, artist and art critic, in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Sharon Trickett is a proud member of the Federation Of Canadian Artists.
